Produktinformationen "HarnMaster - Dyrisa Castle"

Dyrisa is the second largest settlement in the Kingdom of Kanday and the principal seat of King Andasin IV and the royal House of Kand. The town prospers from its position on the road between Aleath and Coranan, two of Hârn's largest towns. The area around Dyrisa was sacred to the Ariathe tribe and is the site of many barrow graves.

The Dyrisa article describes the town's history, government, religion, and economics, and provides details for some of the settlement's craftsmen and other locations, including the mysterious barrow grave of Asagran the Ghoul, a depraved former ruler of Dyrisa. Includes full-color GM and player maps as well as complete floor plans for Caer Dyrisa, the king's castle.

This is a Hârn Classic article and was originally published in 1986 as part of the Kanday Kingdom Module.

Includes two expansions: Temple of Larani and Xerle Chapterhouse.

Dyrisa's Laranian temple is dedicated to the goddess' holy silver sword and is commonly referred to as the "Temple of Avarkiel." It is run by the Order of Hyvrik and stands in the center of Dyrisa in honor of Larani's role in the victory of King Andasin I over the town's Morgathian overlord in 620. Nobles and commoners come from leagues away for Soratir services.

This article is a location expansion intended for use with the Dyrisa Castle article (COL #5662). It describes the temple and its residents. Full-color plans of the building are included, along with several adventure hooks the GM can use to bring the location into play.

Xerle is a chapterhouse of the Order of the Checkered Shield, a fighting order dedicated to Larani, goddess of chivalry and battle. The order holds the manor from the Laranian archbishop of Kanday. Xerle is home to a commandery, or half-chapter, of five knights and 10 common men-at-arms. The Xerle chapter is charged with patrolling the King's Way, the trail between Dyrisa (seat of the King of Kanday) and isolated Ibonost Keep on the kingdom's eastern border, where King Andasin IV spends his summers. Detachments from the chapter occasionally travel the Elos Trail through Ternu Heath as escorts for messengers to Dunir or Selvos on Kanday's west coast.

This article is a location expansion intended for use with the Dyrisa Castle article (COL #5662). Full-color plans and details of the chapterhouse are included, along with several adventure hooks the GM can use to bring the location into play
